Annapurna Combination Trekking-Rafting-Safari (Minimum 04 Pax Needed).

The best of three worlds: mountains, rivers, and jungles. For an introduction to mountain trekking, we walk scenic route in the Annapurna foothills near Pokhara and circle up through cool rhododendron forests and lovely Gurung villages with breathtaking views of Mt. Annapurna , Dhaulagiri and Machhapuchhare (Fishtail).

Returning from wonderful trip in the mountains, we board a raft and set off on a leisurely floating trip down the Seti river which flows into the heart of the Chitwan National Park.

We arrive at a rustic jungle lodge and camp where we will spend a couple of days searching for game on the back of an elephant, by dugout canoe, by jeep and on foot into the deep Terai jungle. You may see a one-horned rhinoceros, leopards, varieties of deer, the elusive Royal Bengal tiger, and any number of exotic tropical birds.


This Trekking offers panoramic view of mountains within a short span of time frame. It takes couple of days from Pokhara to reach Ghorepani and Ghandruk, which is the native homeland of world famous Gurkha Soldiers as well as known for the great views including the both famous mountains Mt. Annapurna and Mt. Dhaulagiri as well as other prominent snow-capped peaks in the Western Development Region of Nepal. For a panoramic view of northern mountains, Punhill (3193m. which is about an hour's climb away from Ghorepani Pass above Ghorepani Village also offers best view of Mt. Dhaulagiri, Tukchey Peak in the northwest and Mt. Annapurna and Mt. Nilgiri in the northeast. The Punhill also offers far-sighted aerial view of Kaligandaking Valley (former main trading route between Nepal and Tibet via Mustang) which is considered as world's deepest gorge between Mt. Dhaulagiri and Mt. Annapurna range and one of the popular trekking spots in Nepal.

Trip Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival to Kathmandu [1,330 m]: Upon your arrival, a representative from Adventure Treks Nepal will be waiting outside the airport gates to take you to the hotel. Depending on time of arrival, plans will be made for a briefing meeting once you have settled in. Please let us know if there is anything special you would like to do while in Kathmandu and we can help you arrange that. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 02: Fly to Pokhara [970 m] - (B): After breakfast in the Hotel we transfer to the domestic airport then we take flight to Pokhara (about 25 M), the beautiful lake city and catch great views of the Himalayas from the right side of our airplane. After landing in the Pokhara airport we drive to the Hotel, Rest of the day is leisure.

Day 03: Drive to Nayapul trek to Banthanti [2,130 m] - (B/L/D): After breakfast we drive for one hour to Nayapul and then begin walking towards Birethati. We then cross the river at Birethati and head left along the gentle slope to Tikhedhunga where we cross the Bhurungdi Khola river to start the long steep climb to Ulleri then walk further along to Banthanti where we spend the night. drive an hour and Walking hour 5-6 hours.

Day 04: Trek to Ghorepani [2,810 m] - (B/L/D): After breakfast we continue our trek along the trail. Occasional views of the peaks give way to a narrower valley, passing through Rhododendron forest then eventually reaching the village of Ghorepani wherewe spend a night.


Day 05: Ghorepani to Tadapani [2,645 m] - (B/L/D): During the night, your guide will check for clear weather to make the one-hour climb up to the Poonhill viewpoint at 3,210m. Itís usually misty when you start off and arrive, then at sunrise the clouds part to reveal one of the most majestic sunrises in the world; Machapuchhre, Annapurna South, Nilgiri and Dhaulagiri mountain are all viewable from here.
We then head back to Ghorepani for breakfast before trekking down to Tadapani.
Along the trail towards Tadapani, we make climb along ridges and through pine and rhododendron forests to Deurali (2,960 meters). After that we descend to the Banthanti, we then turn off to Tadapani.

Day 06: Tadapani Ghandruk [1,945 m] - (B/L/D): From Tadapani the trail descends through forests to Ghandruk. Ghandruk is a village of Gurung people, one of the ethnic groups of Nepal; they have their own dialect, culture, costume, and life style. Ghandruk is also home to many Gurkha soldiers. It is a famous destination for trekkers as it is known for its beautiful mountain views and within easy reach from Pokhara and Kathmandu. We have the afternoon to visit the Annapurna conservation office, Museum and explore the village.

Day 07: Trek to Nayapul then drive to Pokhara [970 m] - (B/L): From Ghandruk itís a long descent to the settlement of Shauli Bazaar at 1,140m. Once there, itís an easy and pleasant walk along the Modi Khola riverbank to Birethanti at 1,065m, where we stop for lunch. Birethanti is a beautiful riverside village that is usually busy with many trekkers starting and finishing their treks. From here we trek to Nayapul then catch a car back to Pokhara. The evening is free to relax and catch up on some last minute shopping.

Day 08: Pokhara Drive to Chitwan National Park Via Rafting [850 m] - (B/L/D):After a hearty breakfast, we will drive to the rafting starting point where we will begin rafting for about three hours on exhilarating rapids. We will then drive to Chitwan, Arrive Chitwan National Park. Transfer to the lodge followed by refreshments and a briefing about the Programme

13.00 hrs: Arrival/Briefing/Lunch.
15.30 hrs: Culture tour to Tharu village.
17.00 hrs: Museum tour & sunset viewing over the Rapti River.
19.00 hrs: Dinner.
20.00 hrs: Tharu stick Dance.

Day 09: In Chitwan National Park [850 m] - (B/L/D):

06.00 hrs: Wake-up Call
06.30 hrs: Breakfast
07.15 hrs: Dog-out canoeing (Buddi Rapti) / Shoret Jungle Walk. Visit elephant Breeding Centre
12.30 hrs: Lunch
13.15 hrs: Elephant Bathing
15.00 hrs: Elephant Back Safari
19.00 hrs: Free time for refreshment
20.30 hrs: Dinner


Day 10: Breakfast at Hotel Fly to Kathmandu [1,330 m] - (B):

06.00 hrs: Wake-up Call
06.30 hrs: Tea/Coffee
07.00 hrs: Bird Watching.
08.30 hrs: Breakfast
09.15 hrs: Departure. Fly to Kathmandu.

After breakfast in Chitwan, we drive to bharatpur Airport fly back to Kathmandu. On arrival, we transfer to the hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 11: Free day in Kathmandu [1,330 m] - (B): There are plenty of interesting sites to visit in the Kathmandu valley like the Old Palaces at Patan, Bhaktapur, Durbar square, Swayambhunath (the monkey temple or you may wonder down town Thamel to shop for souvenirs and sample the various restaurants of Kathmandu. We are happy to offer you some recommendations.

Day 12: Fly back home (1,330m) - (B): We will transfer you to the airport and assist with check-in procedures.
